At Watson and Wyatt, our gin is more than just a drink. it’s a story of compassion, rescue, and giving back. Our gin is named after our incredible street dog, Watson, who was found on the streets of Kalkan in Turkey.

The story began in April 2019 whilst on holiday in the small harbour town and a chance encounter one evening with a dog who, like many, was living on the streets relying on the kindness of strangers for food and water.

An instant bond was formed that led to a new chapter in Watson’s life and, with the help of the Kalkan Association for the Protection of Street Animals, he began the long journey to Yorkshire.

When we found Watson, he was a scrappy, resilient street dog facing the daily struggles of survival. His indomitable spirit and unwavering loyalty inspired us to create something meaningful. We decided that our gin should be a testament to Watson, a tribute to his resilience, and a way to help the street dogs he left behind.

Every bottle of Watson and Wyatt Gin is not just a celebration of Turkish and Yorkshire botanicals, it’s a promise to make a difference. A portion of the proceeds from each bottle goes back to support the charity dedicated to rescuing and caring for street dogs in Kalkan and beyond.
